Regent Street Paper Pattern by Diary of a Quilter
Colorful 13 page pattern (with additional 2 page insert for different layout!) thought up by the endlessly talented Amy, of Diary of a Quilter. (Gotta love a paper pattern for all my fellow old school quilt besties instead of a download!) Bonus: it's also pre-cut friendly!
This glorious pattern just uses a single traditionally pieced block (no paper piecing!) blocks on repeat, but together they sing a new modern tune paying tribute to the ol' Union Jack! Perfect for an anglophile to wrap up in to reread Jane Austen or rewatch Bridgerton!
Uses Fat Quarters, so a magnificent stash blaster or the perfect excuse to go get a bunch of beautiful new FQs!
Directions for 5 sizes and 2 layouts:
Throw: 66" x 80" (we have a Dearest Gentle Reader kit in this size which includes this paper pattern!)
Twin: 83" x 93"
Queen: 86" x 109"
King: 106" x 112"
Alternative Layout: 94" x 93"
Side notes: from one quilt bestie to another, I have made this pattern and can vouch that it is generous in it's explanations and allows for cutting the blocks down to make sure you get everything precise even if some of your seams aren't exactly spot on. Gotta love a forgiving pattern!
This pattern gives a little extra wiggle room in the fabric department but if you wanna feel extra secure I would recommend buying an extra 1/8 yard over the fabric requirements. But only if you really like to have a little extra, as I felt this pattern was particularly generous with it's fabric allowances.
